Internet Resources is going to be a great class to have under my belt. I believe there are a variety of powerful resources that will be able to help my classroom including collaborative activities and a activities for students to complete.
One of the main points that I want to receive more information about is limiting access for our students. When I am in class, there are numerous students that are using the internet for things other than the intended purpose. Being able to monitor these websites and provide limited access to the students are very important to me. By limiting access to these game, movie, and music websites, I believe we can keep students more intrigued with learning instead of outside distractions that deter learning.

Nick,
ReplyDeleteControlling access can be a tricky issue. Does your school or district currently have any kind of filtering in place and is this issue covered in an Acceptable Use Policy?
